Transport of Dangerous Goods by Sea- IMDG code 1.3

The e-learning course entitled «Transporting dangerous goods by sea» provides an overview of the most important regulations of the IMDG Code for land-based personnel, i.e. for persons who dispatch, pack, transfer and load/unload containers.

The course teaches the process, from classification, packing, marking and documentation to the packing of packages, in a lively way. Examples from practice, «best practice» tips and interactive exercises make it easy for learners to understand the dry material and be able to use it in their everyday work. At the end of the course, the learner is then optimally prepared for the final test. If this test is passed, a certificate verifying the completion of instruction on paper can be printed out. In addition, the person responsible is informed of the successful completion of the course by the learner by email.

Successful completion of the course not only fulfills the instruction requirement as per IMDG Code 1.3, Table 1.3.1.5, but also ensures the company's legal compliance, which is stipulated by law. Changes to the IMDG Code (at least once every 2 years) can also be taught in an easy manner without expensive live training in this way, regardless of the number of employees, their location, the time and the language.

With the introduction of the requirement to instruct land-based personnel, new possible gaps have opened up in the legal compliance of companies. The e-learning course entitled «Transporting dangerous goods by sea» is highly suitable for closing these gaps elegantly and quickly. Within a very short time, you can close possible gaps and once again be legally compliant.

This e-learning course offers the best possible way to impart a maximum of knowledge for a minimum of costs, especially when it comes to personnel changes. In addition, you can be sure that new employees have been verifiably instructed in the respective legal area before starting their activities, right from the start.
